What will you get when you hire me to conduct your Ceremony? Personal, undivided attention to your specific needs and wishes:
A Ceremony where every detail has been covered.
Peace of mind that on your most important day, you have put yourselves in the hands of someone you can trust.
Your opinions have been heard and your ideas will be recreated to the best of my ability.
You will participate fully in your own event.
All those who attend will feel included, respected, loved and honored by the way your Ceremony has been designed and conducted.
Your Ceremony will be personal, spirited and joyful.
On a day when it can be customary to merely survive the pressures, you will have a greater promise to actually “be present” yourselves.
A good Celebrant will deliver a ceremony that makes you both proud of your planning, your choices and your requirements. They will be focused on you as a couple. Before you select a Celebrant, note the core needs you require. Make sure your Celebrant is a good listener and can demonstrate an understanding of what you wish to have as a ceremony. A good Celebrant will be clear about what she offers and at what price. The best Celebrants will meet with you personally, when possible, prior to working together. If this is not possible, it can be done via phone and internet. Ultimately, important details should be in writing. This protects both you and the Celebrant.
I will interview both of you to understand what you want, how you feel, the tone, spirit and energy you wish to convey. I can offer suggestions as you go through the planning process or follow your exact script and directives.I will research readings and poetry – anything that can and will enhance your personal Ceremony. I will draft a ceremony for your review and comments. I will revise, rework and update the draft until you are satisfied. It is your Ceremony!
Before you call me, please write down everything that comes to mind. Do not hesitate to ask me anything with regards to your Ceremony. Your wedding is important. You deserve to have a Ceremony that exemplifies your personalities.
